St. Albert, AB – Owen Archer scored his first goal of the tournament with 6:58 remaining in the first period and Jake Salisbury scored a goal to guide the St. Albert Raiders Sabres to a 4-3 conquest over the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna at Performance Arena on Thursday.

Rounding out the scoring for the St. Albert Raiders Sabres was Walker Filewich, Patrick Foster chipping in with a goal each. Roan Greschuk added two assists. Goaltender Tyson Moreland turned aside 26 shots for the St. Albert Raiders Sabres in the win.

Cashing in for the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna was Jack Leslie with two goals and Alexander Sharman with a single tally. Goaltender Gunner Podollan made eight saves in the loss for the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna.

With the win, the St. Albert Raiders Sabres improve to 1-0-0-1 while the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna fall to 0-2-0-0.
