Ellingsen scores pair, STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep outperform Calgary Flames (NWCAA)
St. Albert, AB – Levi Ellingsen scored two goals and added three assists to help bring the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep to a 5-3 triumph over the Calgary Flames (NWCAA) at Performance Arena on Saturday.
Completing the scoring for for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep was Braxton Baker with two goals and Daniel Makovetskiy with a single tally. Ellingsen added three assists and Makovetskiy added two assists. Goaltender Alexander Petukhov turned aside 34 shots for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep in the victory.
Finding the back of the net for the Calgary Flames (NWCAA) was James Anisimovicz, Eric Segstro and Trystan James each contributing with single markers. Easton Oglestone added two assists. Goaltender Zach Henry made 31 saves in the loss for the Calgary Flames (NWCAA).
Baker added an empty-netter with 0:48 left in the third period to seal the win for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep.
With the victory, the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep improve to 2-2-0-0 while the Calgary Flames (NWCAA) fall to 1-3-0-0.
