St. Albert, AB – Jevin Morrison scored with 4:03 remaining in overtime and Jaxon Jaffray scored two goals and added two assists as the Red Deer Rebels slid past the BWC Academy U15 Prep 4-3 at Mark Messier Arena on Friday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Red Deer Rebels was Cruz Nicolay with a single marker. Madden Daneault added three assists. Goaltender Lane Bullee turned aside 33 shots for the Red Deer Rebels in the win.

Striking for the BWC Academy U15 Prep was Cohen Baker, Justin Moon and Adie Schneider with a goal each. Kane Nicholas added two assists. Goaltender Bentley Edgar made 16 saves in the loss for the BWC Academy U15 Prep.

With the win, the Red Deer Rebels improve to 2-0-0-1 while the BWC Academy U15 Prep fall to 2-0-0-1.
