St. Albert, AB – Ryan Van Iperen scored two goals and added an assist to help fuel the St. Albert Raiders Sabres to a 4-2 win over the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep at Performance Arena on Friday.

Rounding out the scoring for the St. Albert Raiders Sabres was Kingsley Maclellan and Brody Sunderland with a goal each. Maclellan and Hunter Saddleback each added two assists. Goaltender Tyson Moreland turned aside 24 shots for the St. Albert Raiders Sabres in the win.

Striking for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep was Braxton Baker and Zakhar Kovalenko chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Erik Sims made 26 saves in the loss for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep.

With the win, the St. Albert Raiders Sabres improve to 2-0-0-1 while the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep fall to 1-2-0-0.
