St. Albert, AB – Ahmad Fayad scored two goals and added an assist to guide the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep to an 8-1 throttling over the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep at Troy Murray Arena on Thursday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep was Easton Arndt with two goals and Luka Samu, Will Kelts, Kalen Miles and Nash Weyland chipping in with a goal each. Samu added three assists, Kelts, Nolan Wolitski, Teagen Bouchard and Cruz Jim each added two assists. Goaltender Karter Gibson turned aside 11 shots for the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep in the win.

Scoring the single strike for the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep was and Michael Kuzik, his first of the tournament. Goaltender Gavin Craig made 32 saves in the loss for the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep.

With the win, the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep fall to 0-1-0-0.
