St. Albert, AB – Brook Haile scored a goal and added an assist to help bring the Calgary Northstars to a 5-2 triumph over the GPAC Higson Dental Storm at Mark Messier Arena on Thursday.

Completing the scoring for for the Calgary Northstars was Nathan Kajmowicz, Damien Lavallée, Thor Liffiton, Deklan Marks chipping in with singles. Isaac Rimmer and Luca Gadway each added two assists. Goaltender Mason Mcdougall turned aside 27 shots for the Calgary Northstars in the victory.

Contributing the only goals for the GPAC Higson Dental Storm was Kayton Reinders with two goals. Goaltender Bracken Larocque made 60 saves in the loss for the GPAC Higson Dental Storm.

With the victory, the Calgary Northstars improve to 1-0-0-0 while the GPAC Higson Dental Storm fall to 0-1-0-0.
