St. Albert, AB – Jaxon Jaffray scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Red Deer Rebels to a 10-1 clobbering over the Okanagan Hockey Academy U15 Prep at Troy Murray Arena on Thursday.

Capping off the scoring for the Red Deer Rebels was Noah Ulry with two goals, Jevin Morrison and Owen Kramchynski, Lucas Wiens, Hudson Lloyd and Easton Kelahear each tallying single markers. Madden Daneault added six assists, Morrison and Cruz Nicolay each added two assists. Goaltender Lane Bullee turned aside 29 shots for the Red Deer Rebels in the win.

Tallying the lone goal for the Okanagan Hockey Academy U15 Prep was and Gage Mark, his first of the tournament. Goaltender Maddox Slater made 23 saves in the loss for the Okanagan Hockey Academy U15 Prep.

With the win, the Red Deer Rebels improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Okanagan Hockey Academy U15 Prep fall to 0-1-0-0.
