St. Albert, AB – Daniel Makovetskiy scored a goal and added an assist to help lift the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep to a 3-1 victory over the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep at Mark Messier Arena on Sunday.

Adding markers for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep was Levi Ellingsen, Braxton Baker each with single strikes. Goaltender Alexander Petukhov turned aside 34 shots for the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep in the victory.

Scoring the only marker for the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep was and Parker Mcmillan, his fourth of the tournament. Goaltender Mason Sutherland made 21 saves in the loss for the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep.

With the victory, the STAR Hockey Academy U15 Prep improve to 3-2-0-0 while the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep fall to 2-2-0-1.
